We’re thrilled to share with you that InfraCloud has won the 2023 Stratus Award for Cloud Computing in the Kubernetes category among 46 other companies including IBM, EY, HPE, MinIO and Skyhigh Security Service Edge (McAfee) from the cloud industry.
Awarded by the Business Intelligence Group, the prestigious Stratus Awards are given to organizations whose products, people, and organizations lead the cloud native revolution in the modern digital landscape.
It is a testament to our commitment to innovation and excellence along with our dedication to pushing the boundaries of cloud native technologies with Kubernetes to build successful Platform Engineering practice.
At InfraCloud, our core values have always guided our mission, and one of our core values is to ‘Stay Ahead of the Curve’. We are here to do our best work and it is only possible if we keep pushing ourselves and the people around us to go the extra mile.
“We bet on a technology - Kubernetes very early on and invested in its adoption because of the value it brings in modernizing the infrastructure and leveraging the power of the cloud.” Said Girish Shilamkar, CEO of InfraCloud. We started to work on Kubernetes in the early days of InfraCloud. We were the first Kubernetes partner in India and only second in APAC.
Vishal Byani, CTO of InfraCloud, expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “This award is a reflection of our focus on modern infrastructure technologies. We are thrilled our customers and open source community are gaining real value from our efforts. This recognition affirms our commitment to pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in cloud-native technology.”
The Business Intelligence Group was created with the aim to amplify & recognize true talent and superior performance in the business world. Stratus Awards judges are business executives with decades of experience and knowledge in the relevant field and industry. The organization has a unique scoring system to measure performance across multiple business domains and then rewards those companies whose achievements stand above those of their peers.
“InfraCloud is one of the leaders in the cloud, helping to develop the infrastructure we need to store and host the data and applications driving our society,” said Maria Jimenez, Chief Nominations Officer of Business Intelligence Group. “We are so proud to recognize all of the winners in this year’s award program.”
In addition to Kubernetes expertise, we are also committed to contributing to open source. We not only support existing projects but also create our own based on common customer needs. In 2019, we created BotKube, a ChatOps tool for Kubernetes. This project gained significant traction and was later acquired by Insight Partners for launching SaaS offerings. Another example is Fission, a Function as a Service (FaaS) implementation that runs on Kubernetes.
Winning the Stratus Award in the Kubernetes category is a tremendous validation of our efforts, and it motivates us to continue innovating, evolving, and creating solutions that leverage the full potential of cloud-native technologies.
